With their sweet, tart flavors and crisp, juicy bite, it's no wonder that apples are a star ingredient in classic dishes like pies and tarts.
Though commonly paired in sweet dishes, apples also go great in simple, healthy recipes like salads and entrees.
Fall is the perfect time of year to get the best tasting apples as well as apple cider. Apples make great snacks and kids usually like them alone or with peanut butter spread on each slice.
